Stars Shine Brightest… @HomeCrest

“Just as stars shine brightest in the darkest night, your joy blazes brilliantly through life’s problems when you count them as joy.”
― Elizabeth George

Do you still feel like we are still living in the darkest of nights? Maybe all we need is a simple paradigm shift, or focusing more on the positive side of things, looking at the glass half-full, not half-empty. In the quote above, focus on the phrase “stars shine brightest” not on the phrase “in the darkest of night.” So it is not what we see, but how we see things. When you look up the sky at night, don’t focus on the dark part of the sky. Pay attention instead, on those tiny little sparkling lights produced by the stars.

In the darkest of nights, 2,000 years ago, a bright star guided three wise men towards a baby boy destined to be the savior of mankind. It is for this reason that stars have become a symbol of guidance, of hope, and of joy. It is for this reason that Home Crest Hotel has started to light up stars around the hotel to remind everyone, that after almost two years of living and experiencing the darkest of nights, there are stars around us. Stars that will guide us, that will give hope, and will provide joy everlasting. Whoever and whatever that star maybe, it is comforting to know that it is here, present, with us. Emmanuel . . . God with us!
