“With faith and hope, together we can rise as one”

Our faith and hope were put to test starting the last quarter of 2019 when successive strong earthquakes badly hit some of the provinces in Mindanao, creating fear among the populace.  Another challenge, starting the year 2020, was faced by our brothers and sisters in Luzon as Taal Volcano erupted, producing hazardous ashes causing people’s mobility and the economy of the affected areas to grind to a halt. Right after the Taal eruption, the CoVid-19 virus outbreak occurred in Wuhan, China which eventually spread across the world and created a global pandemic which killed not just business operations but thousands of people as well. This pandemic, raised as a public health emergency, resulted to a total lockdown in all affected countries. In a span of one month, the Philippines has now more than 7,000 positive cases.

It is the most difficult and challenging time of the year to everyone, especially to our front liners as they are most at risk in combating the virus and treating infected patients who are battling this COVID-19 disease.

On April 29, 2020, Home Crest Hotel team led by our General Manager, Ms. Elizabeth R. Teves, started the day with gratitude and excitement as they are taking part in supporting the front liners of SPMC Children Cancer Institute, and the Orthopedics Department, by sharing simple food packs for their lunch.  The group saw the big smiles on the faces of these children and the other recipients, as they were handed over the food packs.  True enough, this is not a help but an act of gratitude to the entire front liners, who are brave enough in continuously serving the people.

With Hope and Faith, together we can rise as one; and we will rise as one.

FROM THE HOME CREST HOTEL TEAM, WE ARE SAYING OUR GENUINE THANK YOU TO ALL OF OUR FRONT LINERS.
